CFA CHARTERHOLDER MEMBERSHIP

• Complete all three levels of the CFA exams
• Satisfy the requirements to become a regular member

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP

• Apply to both CFA Institute and CFA China and/or a society concurrently
• Pass Level I of the CFA exam OR pass the self-administered Standards of Practice Examination
• Submit appropriate sponsor forms
• Have 48 months of acceptable professional work experience

Applicants are not charged an application fee; but to activate their membership, they have to submit their PCS and membership dues, before receiving member benefits.

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

• Submit the appropriate sponsor forms
• Fulfill CFA China and/or any society requirements for affiliate membership; these may vary by CFA China and/or society.

Once an applicant is approved for affiliate membership by CFA China and/or a society, the applicant will also become an affiliate member of CFA Institute upon activation.

Affiliate members must maintain CFA China and/or society membership.
